2021 Alternative Gifting
Advent is a special season and we return to one of our longstanding BMPC traditions, Alternative Gifting. This is a way to give a different kind of Christmas gift to someone you know or love – a donation to one of our mission partners in their honor.
Imagine what it is like for these agencies who strive to continue to operate and meet the pandemic’s challenge without the same level of volunteers and financing. Any amount you give will be appreciated. Christmas cards will be available in the narthex November 28 through December 24. We hope you’ll join in, do a little reading about these places in the catalog that follows, and enjoy sending word to those you are remembering … saying, for example, something like, “Merry Christmas, Aunt Peggy. I made a gift in your name to the The Weekday School through Alternative Gifting at Black Mountain Presbyterian Church.”
The Outreach Team will report in January about what we as a church family were able to accomplish. If you have questions or need more information, please contact Jessi Stitt or Patti Pyle. Donations for Alternative Gifting will be accepted through January 10, 2021. Merry Christmas Church Family!
